How we calculate it: Your cancellation rate is the number of canceled jobs divided by your total job pool. Since those cancellations would have been opportunities, we add them back into the total first: Cancellations / (Opportunities + Cancellations) = Cancellation Rate. This gives you a more accurate percentage than dividing cancellations against opportunities alone.
